Using beeblog

beeblog is a personal blog run by me, Jason. By using it, you agree to these terms and to how the privacy policy says your data is handled. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

The posts

  • The code and writing I publish here are licensed under the GPL-3.0. You’re free to use, share and adapt them under that license.
  • Guides describe what worked for me, on my systems, when I wrote them. They can be out of date, incomplete or wrong for your setup, and the commands in them can change or break a system. Test first, keep backups, and follow them at your own risk.
  • Nothing here is professional, legal, security or financial advice.

Your account

  • You need to be at least 16 to create one.
  • Use an email address you control, and keep to one account per person.
  • Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You’re responsible for what happens on your account.
  • You can delete your account at any time from Settings in your account.

Comments

What you write stays yours. By posting it, you let beeblog show it on the site, with your username and photo, for as long as it’s up. Comments are reviewed before they appear, and I can decline or remove any of them. Disagreeing is fine; please don’t post:

  • anything illegal
  • harassment, threats or hate
  • spam or advertising
  • other people’s personal information
  • malware, or links meant to trick people
  • anything you don’t have the right to share

Don’t abuse the site

  • Don’t attack or overload the site, or try to get into it or into other people’s accounts.
  • Don’t work around rate limits or other security measures.
  • Keep any automated access gentle, and respect robots.txt.

Tips

Tips sent to the Monero address are voluntary gifts. They don’t buy anything, including support or features, and can’t be refunded.

Ending things

You can stop using the site and delete your account whenever you like. I may suspend or delete accounts that break these terms, and I may change or shut down the site.

No warranty

The site and everything on it are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. As far as the law allows, I’m not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the site or from following anything published on it.

Changes and contact

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Using the site after that means you accept the new terms. Questions go to nations_pendant_0o@icloud.com.
